To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the TV anime "Digimon Adventure," we are releasing the upgraded "Digivice -25th COLOR EVOLUTION- DX Set Yamato Ishida Color," which adds updates such as a color LCD screen to the "Digivice" released in 1999.
The main body color comes in three variations: "Digivice -25th COLOR EVOLUTION-," "Digivice -25th COLOR EVOLUTION- DX Set (Taichi Yagami Color / Yamato Ishida Color)." The exterior of the "Digivice -25th COLOR EVOLUTION- DX Set Yamato Ishida Color" is based on the body color of the toy "Digivice" released in July 1999, but with added paint on the engraved digital parts surrounding the LCD screen and enhanced details.
The exterior of the main body is based on the shape at the time of its release in 1999, but with new design elements added, allowing for the inclusion of a color LCD screen, rechargeable battery, full-color LED, and vibration motor without compromising its size. The LCD screen features the first color display seen in the "Digimon Adventure" series, providing colored characters and backgrounds, enhancing the immersive experience with different backgrounds depending on the area.
During the adventure, not only Digimon but also the "Chosen Children" appear. Additionally, with the built-in rechargeable battery in the main body, you can play by charging it with the included charging cable, which is compatible with USB Type-C. (*Charging requires a USB port such as a computer.)
In this product, players can select their partner Digimon and experience the story of "Digimon Adventure" by embarking on an adventure in the vast Digital World as one of the "Chosen Children." During the adventure, the TV size version of "Butter-Fly" plays as background music, and you can also listen to newly recorded voices of partner Digimon by pressing buttons. Furthermore, boss Digimon related to the story also appear.
Battle gameplay has been significantly upgraded. The battle method is determined from three options: "rapid tapping," "shaking," or "pressing designated buttons." During evolution sequences, anime-like visuals are displayed, accompanied by "brave heart (TV size)" playing, and you can enjoy powerful evolution effects such as the full-color LED lighting and vibration built into the main body.
Not only during the adventure but also in the play mode, you can play back the included songs and voices. In addition, on the "camp screen," you can eat meals, gather around a bonfire, and interact with partner Digimon anytime, witnessing various scenes of partner Digimon.
A collection function is also included to check the Digimon that have become friends during the adventure.
Familiar communication functions are also included. You can battle via communication not only with other devices in the "Digivice -25th COLOR EVOLUTION-" series but also with the "Digital Monster COLOR" series and "Digimon Pendulum COLOR" series already released.
